Just picked up my small school of SD's (5) last night. I wasn't sure they would make it through the night, they seperated in my 110 gal and made for instant victims. After awhile the regrouped and as a school I think they are gonna make it. they are gonna make a perfect addition to my tank.

Picked these guys up on 2/28. I plan to add a lima shovelnose cat on Saturday, and several cichla (peacock bass) juveniles in a few weeks.

Great set up. In the vid I noticed that your SDs were showing the same behavior as when I put my mini school in their tank for the first time. I am sure that they are all over the place now.
Yeah they had only been in the tank about 36 hours or so at that point.
And actually I noticed a couple hours after taking that video, signs of an ich outbreak. Luckily I had a bottle of rid-ich on hand so started treating the tank right away. The next morning they all had it...some worse than others, and a few had broken away (and/or chased away) from the school. 1 died later that day, but he was the only casualty. So I'm down to 7 now...
I'm surprised I didn't lose more to be honest, some of them looked pretty bad for a couple days, but they pulled through. Nice hardy fish.
