Throw in a Flagtail Prochilodus for good measure.
This is a great idea! I have a flagtail and it schools with my silver dollars. Kinda rules them actually.

What are the growth rates on those Silver dollars? The one's I'm going to purchase are only probably 1.5"ish or so. but I will have them for atleast a month, if not two before I purchase a Silver Aro. Don't expect much growth within 2 months, but maybe get em to 2" by then?Just my experience.. i grew out 14 dollars..from tiny ones to about 5" to 6".. moved them into my pond.. 7 got whacked by Aros and RTC.. The aros and RTC are all over 24".. and recently another 3.. so i've moved them out.. maybe you won't see a problem now but eventually in the longer run.. all the best.

Also, Nithin, not sure if your comment was towards me forsure or not but I've got covers on my tank. It's 95% covered with plexi glass panels I cut out to fit the sections. I've just got to covers the small sections next to my two aquaclear 110's and I'll be good to go for the Silver Aro.
No worries manOh ok.....i dint notice
