Keep him on the pellets and check your params since you cleaned everything with tap water.
Since you cleaned everything then there is no cycle to keep going. Your tank is starting over again so adding pellets other than for food will only give you an ammo spike

You should do some reaserch on the nitrification process since you it doesnt really seem like you understand it.

I didn't clean my tank with tap water, I soaked my cartridges in hot water due to whatever black stuff was in the bag when I got them. I don't have a test kit, which 1 is it "specifically" do I need?

I'm really convinced you can't read I never said I cleaned my tank with TAP WATER, I stated I cleaned my tank out added water with PRIME conditioner, the only TAP water that was added was that of which I soaked my filter cartridges in...SMH

You explained in another thread that you cleaned everything including gravel and you said yeah to having used tap water.
