Recommended dose for any freshwater fish is 3 pounds salt to 100 gallons of water.

If it's aquarium salt, just go by what it says on the box, that's what I always do and it works for me.

ok so if i buy another box of salt, how would i use it? do i put the salt in a clear container with holes on the top and put it in my tank? or let it all dissolve first? this is my first time adding salt.
