actually i am getting confuse to call it a black arowana or a blue arowana at that size

theyll get along fine, but i think you should worry about upgrading that tank before you think about getting more fish. everybody always says their smaller tank is temporary but they hardly ever end up upgrading to a bigger size....

Not always true, I attempted putting a 16" silver and 11" black together, only lasted 3 hour before I seperated them. It's hit and miss just like any other aro pairs.

If they do co exsist you'll be looking at a tank 8' x 3' x2' at least once these guys are 30 plus inches.

You can see pics of my black aro when she was 10 or 11" in this thread; http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62085

SO SHOULD I BUY A BLACK AROWANA OR NOT

No, you should not buy a black aro. You have nowhere to move the black aro to if they do not get along.
