After doing a search on google and a search on MFK, I cannot find where these fish have ever been cross bred but a local vendor here says he has some cross of the 2 for $130. I have not seen but I don't know the guy real well and don't want to pay $130 for a silver. Can anybody help me out and let me know if these exist. I think he called it a platinum or something like that. I can't believe it would be a platinum for 130.
Also what do I need to look for when I check these guys out to make sure it isn't just a silver? Like what makes it a platinum or whatever this might be.
Thanks

Platinum for 130$ ???...I want 10 of them :)

There are no cross of a silver and blue/black aro.
Platinum....heck add a zero to that 130...more like $1300.

So with that being said does that means its either a blue or a silver how do I tell the difference and is 130 a good price for a blue?

Platinum or snow white sliver arowana will price at $4000 for a A quality in asia, and will be 1.5 at the price in the states. :)

So we all agree its not a platinum. How do I tell if its a blue or a silver and is $130 a good price for a blue if that is in fact what it is.
Thanks

Have you looked at the Arowana profiles on this site, there's a photo of a black aro, have not heard of a blue SA arowana

When silver aros are small they sometimes take on a blue tint. The color changes as they grow. If it's small I would suspect that's what it is. A pic will answer the question.
