Im looking for a cool *** fish i can add to a 29g. Something cool, colorful, and with personality.... suggestions?

so, a 29G show-fish? usually it's the larger fish that are best kept on their own, so I guess if I had to keep just one, it would be a Blue Acara . . . I think 29G is a bit small for that fish, but not terribly so . . .

pink con or fire mouth

you might want to go with a ram cichlid they have great color and stay pretty small..

Single - Thorichthys sp. (Affinis perhaps?)
Pair - Cryptoheros Sajica or Cleithracara Maronii. For small fish, both have pretty massive amounts of personality in my experience.

You want a fish that is a predator, full of personality, and gorgeous?! Well then look no further!! :)

Just getta Crenicichla!! What you say?! Well, there are DWARF Crenicichla as well...there is Crenicichla compressiceps, Crenicichla notophthalmus, and Crenicichla regani just to name a few. :)

You could EASILY keep a pair in a 29gal, as well as some other fish like deeper bodies tetras, platys, and so on. Right now I currently have two Crenicichla notophthalmus males in a 10gal tank. A little cramped at the moment, but they are doing well.

Tellin ya, these are the fish for you! :) Not to mention they are for sale on Aquabid right now. Just do it! :D

Here are a few pictures of mine to help persuade you. :headbang2
