Took me a second, but I got it lol...

How about a bichir? Senegals are normally very cheap depending on where you live ($5-10 around here for a young one) and don't need a very big tank. A 55 would probably work for one for its entire life, although a 75+ would be better. They are also pretty active, so they would be a pretty cool fish if you only wanted a single specimen tank. You should also be able to find at least albino and also possibly long-finned variations if you're willing to pay a little more. There are also a lot of other bichir species, but if you get a different type, be sure you know how big it will get as it might need a much larger tank than a sen would.

I just got 2 sens a few months ago and they are awesome.

S. manueli or Erythrinus erythrinus (red wolf fish)

Thanks guys, all the suggestions are helping a lot please keep them coming as i am going to purchase a tank soon but not too sure on the size.

Go with a Wolf :)

Or a large cichlid OR Chinease perch

Pirana?
Various Snakeheads

check youtube for both of these feeding then run to your LFS :)

Get some peacock bass! That's what I would get if I was getting a big predator. But then, I am getting some jags too.

Snakeheads are banned in USA. Check the OP's location first.
