Siutations where a 40BR > 55Gallon?

I would think fast schooling fish would prefer a 55. Slower fish would like a deep tank(40B).

Funny about the size of 40B...when I bought 3 back in the early 90's they were sold as being 45 gallon tanks.

I keep my native stream tank in a 55 since its easier to get a good flow in the tank, and used my 40B as a growout when I had young sunfish. all depends on fish.
