I would cut the tiles so there is not much gap, maybe 1/8 inch and fill the gaps with sone play sand, I think that would work great and less messy than silicone.
if you want a natural look buy a bag of black sand and pour out over the silicone or epoxy whatever you chose and allow that to cure into/onto the adhesive
