Slow Escalation of Salinity?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm open minded you know me
not sure the wife would want it excreeting salt in the living room
better make it fresh

Haha we were just talking the other night how bad-ass it would be if you could have some sort of shot or pill to give an animal that would halt its physical growth in size, while allowing it to mature mentally & stay physically healthy. Basically miniaturizing them with no harm no foul.

Have a house-cat sized, fully mature bengal tiger or lion...polar bear, anyone? You know it would be badass :p

I would say this is the rule to follow.

What occurs in nature is what should be reproduced in home aquaria as much as possible.

Right now I have a 180g which is running 1.011/.012 and I will slowly be taking it up to 1.022.

The residents are 3 10 inch columbian sharks, 2 silver scats, 1 sleeper goby and 1 archer fish(this one I am not so sure of taking to full sw).

I might actually only take the sw up to 1.017 since I am unsure of the archer.

I have always wanted a shark tank and since I learned that columbian sharks can go full sw they look enough the part for me.

Yet, so far as taking a full on fw fish with no brackish history I would say no dice.
