Get one of the small terriers. Instead of fur they have hair. The only downside would be having to go to one of those people that cuts the hair.

Something that kids can have fun with? A rottweiler. Seriously, best choice.

If i had a bigger yard id get an other pittbull,still miss mine from back in the day .

we got a mini schnauzer. he's been a good dog, very good with the kids although quite "barky" to strangers. and atleast he doesnt look super sissy, looks like a grumpy old man. potty training was a breeze, easiest dog ive ever potty trained.

Dont get a deformed imitation pitbull(not looking to insult anyones pet its just a joke),.lolol...but you can get a 25 pound APBT or less. They are out there. We had 2 small females one 25 pounds on the chain and another almost 30 pounds. Also you can get males that just tip at 40 pounds. But again, from a shelter....lol...Im really big on that now.lol
