Small hardy carnivorous fish??

Me too lol I had a 5 a few years ago sold to me as community tetras they terrorised everything for the hour I had them before I took them back lol
I've seen a shoal of around 40-50 in a tank and they were awesome at feeding time

in a 10 ??? 1 cause thats what you will end up with in that size tank......they will get to killing each other as they get bigger in a small tank (they WILL get to 3-4 inches )...in a bigger (40b) size tank you could probably do 5

Not sure if you were dismissing killis because you don't like them or because you think they aren't predators. If the latter, I just wanted to point out that Aplocheilus Lineatus are absolutely mini predators. They have surprisingly large mouths and will certainly devour smaller fish if given the opportunity.
