Wow every time i see pictures of your collection im amazed, the arowana and MM pair are just stunning and is that the 30" fire eel from wharf aquatics that was up at £225 i nearly bought it, but it was just a little too much.
I love the tree boa's too, really interesting snakes.
 
No that one was the Indonesian one,mines from Thailand,the spots are much redder and bigger on the latter.....cheers.
 
Ah i see i had no idea that there was a difference in pattern from where the fire eel comes from, is this a generally accepted difference, would importers beable to order one from Thailand instead of Indonesia?
 
Kev....im in love !! ,thats a fantastic fish,is it one of Neils babies?What sex is it,i can see its part of a pair even though the one to its side is very blurd.
 
For some reason most of the fire eels that come into the trade come from Indonesia,still very nice fish but not a patch on the ones from Thailand,they all have the huge red spots from there.
 
Apparently the Fire spot and Orinoco marbles have just recently been put together and described as a new species....no longer are they "Motoros",they are now known as Potamotrygon Boesemani......has anyone else heard news of this?
