get some raphy cats platidoras costatus they are fun readily available I love mine. they body shape isnt very RTC like.

and if you could get ahold of them I really want some but microglanis iheringi they are SA drift wood cats and that particular species stays small. also somthing I would get againg not very RTC like but JOhn has 4 for 20 dollars are honey comb cats

other than those nothing comes to mind

Leiarius pictus or Leiarius marmoratus?
Since when can those species fit in a 40 gallon?

check out this cat- a have one. super preditory. maxs out at 9 an a half inches.. depending on the dimensions of your 40 i guess. check on planet catfish for some good info . Pseudopimelodus bufoni

ill check my lousy LFS that sells a tigerbarb for $5 if they have pictus cheaper than $9.99 otherwise ill have to get from petsmart at 9.99 :( anyway does petco sell pictus cat? If they do how much does it cost usually?

my tank is a 40 long 36 x 18 x 13 btw. However im thinking of housing the pictus with my turtle and convict couple that always quarrel n 2 minnows in the 55 gallon. Ill probably move the 2 minnows in the 40 long and get some rams.

i read that pictus are supposed to be kept in groups of 3 to 5 like clown loaches
