Small Sump Connection Leak HELP - PIC

Unfortunately, I was unable to test the seal last night. I did snap some quick photos though:

I'll try to re-doing it tonight and see if I can get it fixed.

Always use teglon tape on threaded connections, 2-3 good wraps will be sufficient as overdoing it can be bad and cause leaks.
We were just talking about you. You've never really done any plumbing, have you. ;)
 
LEAK FIXED!

I cut two new gaskets and used a TON of the Teflon tape (6 wraps) and didn't cinch down too tight on the seal. I filled it with water and ran it for about 6 hours last night and had no problems. I'm going to run it all day tomorrow and monitor it for leaks but I think we're in the clear!

I even ran the chiller and UV sterilizer last night with no problems.

Now I just need to get some timers, mount them up off the ground and start cycling! :nilly:
