Small Sump Problem

Wait, I dont know what you said but the pump pumps water faster than the overflow brings in so I put a ball valve on the outflow tube to reduce the ammount of water going out but the valve isnt sensetive enough.

As long as the overflow can handle more flow than the pump there cant be a rise in the sump level, given the overflow is positioned at the right height...

Ask yourself this...
if the power goes out. what will the water in the tank, do to the sump?
If the overflow is at the right height, the water will drain into the sump almost to the top and quit. If it will flood over the sump, then level of your overflow in the tank, is too low...

No it wont flood, the overflow is high enough. But I just need to get a valve thats more sensetive to limit the outflow.
Here are some pics from p-fury. forget page 1

you need a larger overflow to be able to flow more water, right now your pump pumps water into the tank faster than your overflow can return it to the sump.

Yeah but I even tried completly removing the overflow and that still wasnt enough.
