Small Sump Problem

Put a hole in the glass, so the bulkhead can be installed?!

I get this feeling that you haven't watched the video and you don't know what an overflow really does...

The overflow on the tank is there so any additional water that is pumped into the tank, will drain out the "OVERFLOW"
This water is what feeds the media and flows into the sump...the pump pumps the water up into the tank where it can overflow back into the media and sump...over and over again...there is no siphon to deal with if you use the Glass-Holes.com overflow...

Now that you have a little backround, watch the vid on their site...:(

Problems just keep coming up. I already had to remake my sump, the valve and now overflow. I did watch the video but I didn't really understand it. How do you drill a tank?

Ahhhhh great, now I gotta get me one of those to. I almost wanna forget the sump idea.

That's just one of the methods to create on overflow. You can also buy a HOB (hang on the back) overflow. No drilling needed for those.
I would much rather do that. And can I get one thats cheaper than 85$? Can someone give me a good link from ebay? Im in Canada.

The overflow has gotta be small because my tank is against the wall and won't budge.

Ok, I watched the vids but there is no way Im draining my tank to drill it.

I thought something was screwey! You have a siphon, not an overflow. Look at the DIY section for a sticky on how to make an overflow, and read the entire thread. You need to understand how all overflows work and the risks associated with them before you start using any method.
