Ok, ive noticed that alot of you people on MFK think in similar ways. I believe that fish keeping could attract people with certain frames of mind. im thinking more mathematical/ scientific minds. due to all the momorizing involved with keeping fish as well as how cold they are.

ok so I will conduct this survey as follows

tell me what your best subject was in school. and we will see how you people fall in

please only die heart keepers not people who just got their first fish.

ill start us off with Math and science. I suck so much at English its just sad

one more thing what prompted you to become a fish keeper?

scientific aspect or beauty of fish

Science and geometry are my best subjects. I can barely pass english.

hmm interesting its just as I expected it. put it this way alot of people think I am a genius and yet my standardized test scores were math 99 science 99 and I think English was 68.

we had an interesting activity to do once in 5th grade that I feel reflects ones thought process well. we had to make a web a food web I think. mine ended up looking like a bunch of scribbles so much so that he teacher brought it up at the conference. the only other person who did that was my friend who is completely english incompetent more so than myself. I wish the school system would understand this and just let me ditch english to take marine biology or genetics. alas no

Ah, well my English scores were very high, my biological sciences were very high, but anything math related like physics...well, lets just say I'm amazed that I can use a tape measure without screwing up.

Animal Science was easy for me in school. Chemistry, not so much.

I was very good at math and algebra, but geometry threw me for a loop.

I keep so many different species of fish from so many different parts of the world, I've started researching where my fish originated in the wild, what their natural environment is like. I've also started moving into "hard to find" species and am really dedicating myself to breeding.

wow this is alot more mixed up than I thought it would be. what I had expected was

math science predominant with a smaller group of english people that were attracted to fish not as subjects to study or observe but in a more artistic way. im gon to add one more question to narrow this down a bit
