  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I excelled at sciences, did horrible in english(well I got good grades but my teachers didnt do much in the way of teaching english) and I wasnt all that good at math either.

I got into cause having ADD I need something to keep me busy, and fish keeping was the most intersting

hmmm your a beauty person lol.

strangely I am state recognized in french my first language is spanish.
I can read and understand Portuguese but I can speak it but that just comes from knowing one latin based tongue

Yes, I know where many genuses originate, PH, food requirements, etc.

Just don't ask me to point to where it is on a map:ROFL:.

Lets see I don't consider myself bad at any subject but I did not do well in math, and sometimes english. The reason for this I believe is because Im a more artistic/creative thinker. Science I always got an A, history/english/art A-B, math D the reason I didn't have good english grades is because Im not afraid to say what the teacher doesn't want. It comes to bite me in the *** all the time but Im not one to conform just for the sake of conforming. Math I aced the SATs but got a D in class and was in a lower math then most. I could be placed in calculus or analytical geometry and calculus straight out of high school but Im not ready for it. I was always an out of the box thinker in art/english and won nearly any debate I had in english. Im very artistic and love drawing and watching films when I have time. The reason I like fish is the really split right down the middle. I love the artistic part of creating a natural space that doesn't mimic society or anything unnatural. And I also am extremely intruiged in the behavior of fish and viewing them in a natural state. As for the last question, I know a lot of scientific names but not too many I can look at a fish and tell the temp/pH requirement for the most part.

haha very true about eh temp and pH I make it a point to do this for as many fish as I can. though mostly fish that I want to buy. wich like pH 5.8-7.5 ideal for my tanks would be 6.5 ive gotten to the point were I can just go thru all the fish at my LFS and give a good amount of info. im still not very good tho

English and history were my best subjects, as well as government and economic studies. Then followed science, then math. I did enjoy physics and chemistry, but were'nt my favorites. I'd say im slightly above average in math. But i excel in grammar (grammarians for the win; and I don't always type properly on here, so dont hold me accountable. I only use proper grammar where it counts ;)), English and history. :headbang2

English and history was my best. ;)
Math was not... :(

Best subject was Science. I'm actually trying to get a Marine Biology degree.

Reason for getting into fish keeping: The scientific wonder of the buggers.

In highschool I did equally well in all subjects getting nearly all A's (i got B's in health and gym class because I skipped them frequently costing me the title of valedictorian). In college, it is a bit different though. I am acing anything that is not microbiology, comparative politics, or chemistry. I generally consider myself a science nerd but for some reason, these classes are kicking my butt and all of them are science (2 natural sciences and a poly sci class...).
