Now if you ask the question which seems to be the slowest growing one, my vote goes for mokes

I think moke might be the smallest. I have not seen one larger than 30 cm. Other species I've all seen 30+ cm.

A captive bred albino or platinum senegal will only get 6-8 inches and a 40 breeder would be comfortable.

Albino sens grow fast and stay around 7 inches. Mokes grow very slowly, but the question isn’t what is the slowest growing bichir, so albino Senegal is the answer.

If we are talking about variations too then yeah captive bred albino sens are probably smallest but species wise mokes are smallest.

The smallest is probably a Super Short Body Albino Senegal. Have owned six of them for almost 3 years and they never passed 5 to 5.5 inches maximum.
