Smallest fish in the biggest tank?

during the warmer months my 8" highfin pleco has the 125g all to himself. Seems to like it. Also the smallest fist in the 6000g pond (18foot round) are 5" they're not alone in there however.
 
I did have a lungfish in there until the night before

Sold to a guy with a 10' tank. He was already too large for that tank but also I'm moving so i need to scale down on the numbers of tanks i have. The goldfish was my girlfriends sisters and is over 10 years old. I will only have a goldfish tank and my 180g
 
I once had a 5 inch and a 1 inch pleco in 125

I even remember back when I first setup my 190 gallon I put a 2 inch pleco in there by himself for a week

To Op, what size tank was the Goldfish in before this?
 
my pair of Yamabuki ogon was in the 1000 Gallon by themselves when I first got them at 3-4''
