Just moved them to a filtered 20g long tank. They filled up the 5 gallon tank quickly. They should have a lot of space for a while.

Here's a pic of those that were knocked off their stick nest and hatched separately in a 2 gallon tub. Just moved them to a 4 gallon tote. There's at least a hundred of them there...

Juan, how are the fry coming along?!?!

They are doing quite well, actually, in the filtered 20g long tank. There are now three packs of them that's being grown out. The second pack is in a four gallon unfiltered box, and currently with no aeration in my patio. that pack were hatched from eggs that were knocked off the stick for sticking out of the bucket that was used to transport them home. The third pack is in a similar situation in a smaller box. This pack are fries that got siphoned off together with dirt on the tank bottom. The fries are all over the tank and a few always get siphoned. I don't put them back, they get grown out separately.

Here's the latest pic of the main pack taken early today before they woke up. I've found that it's much easier to clean the bottom very early in the morning before they start swimming for the day. None were siphoned off. They look like they are now abour a quarter inch after a bit over a week.....
