Hello all...this is my first post!!
I'm responding to this "Smallest Peacock Bass" thread with, perhaps, the smallest peacock bass every caught on a lure!!
Not exactly sure how this happened but we were fishing in a South Florida canal trolling some lures. After retrieving the lure to the boat, the picture below was the result!!
I CANNOT believe that this little guy attacked the lure!! What might have happened was that the lure was pulled through some fry foul-hooked him but I'm not sure!

He was *barely* hooked and flicking around a bit and, when put back in the water, took off! Hope he's OK...and hope to catch him again in a a few yearshotfishgirls;965329;965329 said:

I had to knock off some of the eggs from their stick nest to transport them in a 5 gallon bucket.
Here's the latest pic of their progress in a 4 gallon unfiltered plastic box.
I've raised a dozen fries to 1.5 inch in a shoe box before with no filtration
