Smallest wolf fish?

I might be getting another tank either 40 or 55 gallon, max 75 gallon. What are some good tank mates for these fish? Could a sengal bichir, red wolf fish, and hujeta gar live in a 40 gallon breeder their entire lies? In a 55 gallon? In a 75 gallon? Pretty much, what is the smallest of these tanks that the three could live in together all of their lives? Thanks so much for all of the help so far!

Wolf and sen might work in 90+ gallons; Hujeta won't work with the wolf.

What kind wolffish was Jeremy Wade cathcing on river monsters? That thing was a BEAST!

This is correct all the tanks the OP redwolffish mentioned are too small

I don't believe it's very hard to breed convicts.
All you need is a male and female and that's it, but I commend you on your 13 years of breeding convicts redwolffish .

I too liked the redwolf + senegal bichir combination, saw some successful cases around, but it was a failure for me.
My Erythrinus erythrinus killed the senegal within 2 days, the bichir was actually bigger too.

I would try a Erthrinus sp Peru with a senegal in a 40GB, it may or may not work out but worth a try and definitely not irrational.

I can't comment on the hujeta gar as I've never kept one.

My red wolf is around 9.5" and I would not keep him in a 40g. 48x18 footprint would be minimal.
