anyways, you were probably in preschool or kindergarden when tyson was in the prime of his career. i'm thankful i got to see him become the undisputed champ. watching him clobber holmes, spinks, tubbs, carl williams, bruno, bruce seldon,..... i'll always be a tyson fan because i got to witness the height of his career.

don't take guys like pacman and floyd jr for granted guys. when we are in our 60's and 70's we'll get to tell our grandchildren what two great fighters they were

I still think Tyson was drugged or paid to lose to Douglas. He looked out of it even before the fight started.

i never thought of that before, interesting thought though. the drugged part only though, i really don't think he was paid to lose.

they did not take buster serious at all man, i remember over in japan before the fight he got wined and dined by the japanese. he was eating them japanese women "like grapes" he said. the guys cornering him was as garbage as garbage can get. his swellings were being treated with what looked like a condom blown up like a balloon with cold water in it. absolute garbage. buster was supposed to be a walk in the park.

we watched that fight live and i just couldn't believe my eyes what was happening. if only there was more time left when he got a knock down on buster. saved by the bell that guy was. but either way, buster fought the best fight of his life that night and props to him. just lost his mother right before the fight

nah, tyson got a full dose of DON KING in tokyo before Douglas, out partying and makin King some extra coin doin apperances. once king was in and tysons old management was out he mostly sucked because he never trained.
 
Tyson's downfall started when Bill Cayton died.
