go buy like 10 assasin snails

oh =/ look online and have them mailed to you they kill all other snails in the tank

a clown loach will easily take them all out, or if not leave a piece of zucchini or lettuce in there for a few hours let them all climb on and take it out by masses it wont kill them off but lower the numbers dramatically

id go with the zuchini plan until the snails arrived, the assasin snails will work faster and get every last snail out compared to a clown loach which would have been my second choice

it's a ten gallon tank
i'll go with the second plan

Do you have any other inverts?
You could use a snail-away type medication..

I used it once on a betta tank I had that was over-run. They were all dropping off the glass and dying within a minute of adding the treatment.

It was incredible, make sure you remove as many of the corpse as you can. Once they start to decompose it will add a huge load of waste to the tank, and it can cause an ammonia spike.

Use such a treatment as a last resort though. Be aware it will probably kill any other inverts in the tank too. I think they are copper based usually too, so will mean the tank should never be used for a marine setup.
