yeap small mirco's are a fiver... its ridiculous and completely irresponsible when you consider that the average shop info card for micro's states they can be com'd with large aggressive tankmates and only grow to 60CM/2ft... its bull and why i ended up with my 2, as i felt best they went to me who can provide or them and no's truely what to expect.... its completely crazy to sell a such a preditory fish of such dangerous potential for a £5!!!!!!!

Yes you can buy the Giant Snakehead Channa micropeltes in the uk,as far as i know the only one you cant buy is the Northern Snakehead Channa argus ... :)

Channa argus is prohibited in the uk this species of channa isn't allowed in the uk

i personally belive this snakehead is a publicity stunt there is no way that that snakehead was caught in our waters and "lived" were in our winter months now water temp is very cold even our native species shut down in winter so what chance does a snakehead have .... :screwy:

snakeheads arnt banned in our country, but pirhanas are because a silly hobbeists had left a breeding pair in a pond and u can guess what happened there ( atleast this is what we were told ) the media has no better work to do, then blow up matters way out of propotion.......

man i hate that paper, its just for retarded fat white trash equivalent of rednecks - uk version - CHAV hehe seriously google and wiki that word, you wont be dissapointed your in for a laugh

the fill the sun with such bull**** all the time i hate it

Made Tuesdays AnglinTimes I Quote “There is not a snowballs chance in Hell that this fish could survive and be feeding in a UK river at this time of year"

"I can’t help but think this is a hoax"

It's also nice to see that they say Aquatic enthusiasts are gravely concerned about the story they also had Matt Clarke from Practical Fishkeeping comment on it.
