Snakehead Fishing Meet for PA MD and anybody else!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm only free during the weekends to do this, depending on how many people are attending I can get a us a boat, it would be like $60 a person for like 8 Hours worth of fishing the best spots I now so its well worth it.

As far as tackle is concerned, I rec Braided line or else they will thrash and snap filament. I use 15lb powerpro

Snakeheads are topwater feeders mostly so I rec
Inline spinners
Topwater chugs, jerks, hula popers, frogs, I love using walk the dog type baits because I can cast alot further and reel in faster and they absolutely love biting on to them.
They will even take plastic worm/lizard but I dont rec this method since you'll be catching mostly bass

BTW Someone would have to pick me up ahha I'm on a restricted license :(

Would 20lb Stren Big Game mono with a steel leader work for line instead of braided? Braided and superline give me trouble on my baitcaster :(.
Should be fine, prob wouldnt need the steel leader but it never hurts to have it
