Snakehead Legality

Yup, MD is the only state where you can legally own them and they better be the small tropical ones and you better have owned them prior to the ban. Otherwise F&G will remove your fish and fine you (or worse!). I know this first hand.
 
what about dwarf snakeheads? i have a mini monster tank (obviously due to my name) and I have been looking for over a YEAR and found nothing. So how 'bout dwarf snakeheads?
 
All species of Channa and Parachanna are included in the US ban. That includes dwarf snakeheads.

To get the point across, CT has even included previous taxonomic identifiers to support their 'NO' stance on snakeheads.

(21) Snakehead (including all members of the genus Channa and Parachanna or
their generic synonyms of Bostrychoides, Ophicephalus, Ophiocephalus, and
Parophiocephalus).
