Buy it, and say you bought it as a red pike 5 years ago. they were allowed in the states at 1 time :(

Well I went down there to see if they still had him and to my surprise he was gone:irked:I asked the guy workin the Fish Dept if they were gonna get more and he said they could order them for me if I would like. I guess the one I had seen was purchased by sum guy and brought it back the next day dead  Atleast thats what the store worker said.

Always buy first and then ask questions later!:naughty:

Well most the time I do buy then ask later :D I am still gonna look to see what I can find, I dont wanna wait to long cause then my Jar wont let anything in that tank. what Snakeheads stay more along a medium size or do they all get MASSIVE?

Get a firm ID before buying anything, do you really want a fish that gets that big and can get your tanks confiscated and your butt seriously fined?

hei , you hav to get that fish. i have to snakeheads my self and daaam they are fun :) Eat anything i put in, can not have anything at al with them. And i do not put my fingers in the water, cause they bite :) I have Channe Maulius the biggest is about 38-40 cm. beautiful cobras hombre :)

I have one myself about 23cm, though right now it's not aggressive at all actually, compared to snakeheads I've owned in the past. Lives in a community with larger and smaller fish.

If it's big enough you can say that you bought it before the law came into affect. i heared they are less strict that way. my friend had a full grown one in his 600 and then they came out with the law and they let him keep it.

Nice Snakeheads :D I just seen sum the other day at another LFS in Ohio, but they were Displays only :( I begged and begged and still came home with nuthin.
