there are so many other fish that are legal that you'll get the same satisfaction from. i wouldnt wanna risk the fine for having one of those bad boys. and with a 300gal. tank on the way, you could put a few nice fish in there rather than having a 3ft. snakehead in there ripping everything to shreds.

slight exaggeration, but even a 2 footer, which they can easily get to in that size tank, would be a handful

BTW, any lfs that gets caught that are having any illegal fish, from SH, piranhas, rays to even snapping turtles and african clawed frogs will get fined $5,000 per animal. A lfs in my area got fined closed to $80,000 plus all the fish confiscated.

I think you meant the miniature african clawed frogs that grows to only 1/2". The nice ones are the larger cousin which are called african clawed frogs but grows to about 5"-6" and will eat anything that it can swallow.
