Considering there's a federal ban on all snakeheads in the US, if I was that lfs owner and saw you dropping a dime on the deal in a public forum, I'd drop you like last week's garbage. Because if you're so eager to sing here, who knows who else you might have told.
He is going to pull some strings. Good luck Dude...... I wouldn't count on it as many Dealers talk shizt. I was in a new petstore last week, and i wanted to feel out the owners knoledge by asking about a snakehead. He replied with i can get those, they are on my order slip. He had no clue about how they stand iwht the goverment and fines associated with them....
Uhhh dude, go ahead and get them, however, remove your friggin local from this site and or any other....Oh and beyond that, be responsible with them......

ummmmmmmm, why would you want a snakehead? whats the appeal? theyre mean, not very active, and dont even look that cool, not to mention ILLEGAL, its people like you that ruin it for the rest of us

this topic fires me up, if ya really want to, go ahead and get a snakehead, that is if the "dealer" really can get it, and then youll be sooo cool right? do yourself a favor and get something legal, the best way to avoid the PIGS is to be a good american citizen right? and no, just because you pay taxes doesnt mean that you get a right to everything! what about the rest of us that pay taxes too? the ones that want the invasive species to stop? dont pollute our rivers that were once full of gamefish with fish that are no good at all! imagine that, a river once full of darters, sculpin, pickerel, trout, and other various natives. now all you can catch is a nasty trash fish called SNAKEHEAD.
so, go ahead and get your damn snakehead, but dont get mad when its the only fish in your tank, and its completely anti-social
this is a message to everyone who wants a snakehead because theyre crazy fighters, or theyre super aggresive, or because you want to see a feeder die in seconds, there are tons of fish that offer all this that are legal, and are active too, try a puffer, if you just like the snakehead look try something else, because i guarantee youll regret it sooner or later
call me crazy, but as a tax paying citizen(lol, you pay taxes to benefit the community, not all of it goes to the "bloodsucking" government, do your research on how much the us spends a year to benefit the community, and guess what, youll ge back twice what you pull outta your pocket), i get my own opinion

snakeheads are bad i agree. but fishing for them can be fun since they put up a good fight. but then again, if there's snakeheads in the lake, all you're going to catch are snakeheads. it takes NO SKILLS to catch a snakehead in the wild. all u have to do is find a spawn section where there's hundreds of baby SH and throw anything near it and the parent will attack it.
