Amen to that. The only reason I worry about the law is I know the penelties can be pretty harsh for that kind of thing....And a raid by any type of authority is the LAST thing i need in my house

You were raided??!! What caused that to happen??

Pics I left in a forum gallery when my company relocated me from one state to another. The fish were legal where I bought them but, illegal where I moved to. Lost over $4k in fish, over $30k in crays, and was hit with over $60k in fines. $5k to a lawyer got me out of the fines due to a procedural error.

Oh man that sucks...lucky for you they screwed up on something so you got out of that huge 60k fine. Thats an incredible amount of money just for some fish.

Bad idea, even if someone were dumb enough to publicly answer your request you risk a lot. One punishment I have heard about is the confiscation of your tanks and equipment and even banning you from keeping fish at all for a couple years, that happened in San Francisco over some piranha. It was part of a defferedsentancing deal and they could come in and check at anytime, warrant not required.

when did advertiseing channa becomeagainst the ruleson MFK?

But but Please sir I want some Channa micropeltes. (he says in his Oliver twist voice)

In the US, go for a pair of bowfin. Same look, same temperment, same diet. Only you won't need a heater or a 'speal-easy' back room to hide them from the man. (unless bowfin are illegal in your state).
