Wow! Going to be very cool!
Even though I don't have reef tank, I hang alot on reefcentral as well. Although not everything applies to fresh water, I think that many concepts do. I also think that alot us us FW guys would benefit from their knowledge as it look like you have.
I hope you keep us posted on the build.

You could start with just turning the lights on and off and then program it for day/night cycles and then have it do the moon cycles. You could also get probes so the computer can check, ph, nitrates, etc. Then you could even check on your tank via the internet. One of my other hobbies is computers. I've been looking at programming my christmas lights to music and using an Arduino to control it.

That is pretty awesome. I like the idea of checking parameters with that thing. I already have the code to run sunrise to sunset lighting, where the lights slowly fade on in the morning for sunrise, and slowly fade out at night. That should be really cool.bubbles123;4931587;4931587 said:

Very nice! What gph is that? Is it the full 2000 from both pumps? Also how many linear inches is your over flow box?
