Thinking about getting photography as a 2nd major, but Zoology is more important and I will think about photography once I'm done with high school and have a Zoology major.
For now I just do it for fun, contests and little things like that.

i want to get into good pix but the cams cost so much and ya gotta know alot on a pc it looks
what cam you use?

I just shot the picture in RAW which is preferable as you can control exposures, sharpness... etc on your computer after taking the picture and not have your camera do it for you as they don't always do what you want them to.
I saved the picture in different exposures as JPG files and then let Photomatix join all of them for me.
I use a Canon 400D
