Yes just cut the fillets into smaller pieces. Every cichla we ever delt with catches on real quick too fish fillet.

Thanks!! I have ten of them. Figured that would give me the best chance of growing out a good little group. I'm glad John got these guys in and did such a great job shipping them.

Small update: almost on bloodworms, and waiting to pick up a few more little cichla...their red eyes always fade when I get the camera out, lol

I have a total of 5 severums in this tank. All together I have 10. In this tank there are 2 atabapo, 2 red heads, and 1 unknown so far, but guessed to be a rotkeil.

Nice, I have a lot of severums, and they seem to mix really well with cichla...if the diameter of the severum is larger than the cichla's head...
