snorkeling a local pond?

Yea, no "one" owns it, its under powerlines so its state property. I've fished there numerous times and have never seen gators. I think I'll wait til my buddy comes back down from gainesville and talk him into it.

That's a very good idea. It's always good to have someone with you when you are snorkeling, just in case something goes wrong.

Do you have a submersible camera?

I bought a dica pac for my camera, nothin special but it gets the job done and it was cheap.

just jump in, people today are too concerned with all the crap, we used to swim in a lot of the pits that used to be beside Alligator Alley.

use some of that ear puddy stuff to protect against bacterial infection in your ear (swimmer's ear)

if there are alligators in the area, I would not go swimming though.

yes, the chances of a problem are like those of getting hit by lighting..

but still...not worth it.

well...ive snorkeled in a canal a few times.
pretty fun,never had problems from it.
