wow how can they keep them alive in FW long enough to sell them? it was in with some sort of gobie. so they must be selling SW as FW fish. thats sad. i have to get my SW friend to save them
They also, (rarely) sell Gymnothorax polyuranadon as FW snowflake or leopard eels, These do a little better in FW but are wild caught and seldom eat, starving after a couple months. Both species do much better in brackish water.
But they do very well in saltwater. My friend had a G. tile in a saltwater setup for nearly 7 years before it found an open intake and swam up it, and straight through an impeller.
