So. Cal residents - post your favorite LFS.

I dont really have a fav. but a couple good ones that I like are
1. Hacienda aquatics, on Hacienda blvd. just north of Amar
good prices and alot of exotics.
2. Exotic Tropical Fish in MorenoValley or Perris not sure. usually has a good selection of oddball stuff. their off of Perris blvd. about 1-2 miles south of the 60 frwy.
3. Tongs in whittier off of whittier blvd. just east of colima big selection but a bit pricier than the other two.
I know these places are at different ends of the world but I thought I would spread it out for MFKers of all areas of socal.

Exotic Tropical is actually run by an ex Marine who imports a lot of stuff, but keeps them private in his house hold.
His name's Anthony, and if you're looking for Tang's he's definately the guy to talk to in these parts.

i don't like their price on water condition, and medicine. Last time i checked, a big bottle of melafix they sell for $16, $18 for big bottle of Stress Zyme . the lfs (called Warehouse) i usually buy sell $11 for melafix and $13 for Stress Zyme for same size.

the first time I was there I talked to the dad but dont remember his name, is that Anthony or is that his son, either way Ive dealt with both and his wife and they are all good people, until recently I still used to drive there for his imported freeze dried shrimp.

Another place that I like is Mark's Tropical Fish in Studio City. Their store is kinda small but not a bad selection of fish and they are all very healthy. Just their prices on equipment is a little high but not too bad.
Another lfs i always buy my supplies from is on Bolsa, the store name is Warehouse. The owner is very friendly, If any 1 need aro or rare turtle theni recommend you go there and check. They don't have nice displace tank, or nice holding tank. If you buy fish from them, you really need to quarantine first.
