I actually agree. I'm just curious of other peoples opinions. Either way the fish is suffering. Hopefully some day in either instance bad information doesn't get out there and get an unfortunate fish in these situations.

he will get out of that tank one way or the other. i bet he weighs over 30 pounds right now anyway
probably about 40lbs!!! it will burst the tank soon, its like a fish prison!! and soon enough it will get fed up
That is about the worst I have seen, I cringe every time I hear the "they only grow to the size of their tank" line. My response is always to point out that they are right since the fish will die a horrible premature death it won't be around to outgrow the tank.

I agree there are lots of fish that should not be sold in the trade fresh and salt but they are. Just like Redtail Catfish should not be sold cause they get to big in a short time.
True they become in excess of 1.5metres!! still nothing on the 8foot grouper!! or what about the Arapaima gigas 4metres long!! these fish should not be sold unless there is proff of the customer having an adequete pond or tank to house them
Even if he planned on getting a bigger tank or wants one; the time to actually get one is---like before he got the fish lol. I was a bit c@#ty and posted on his youtube wall...to be deleted inevitably.
