With a hose, you can also just seal one end with your thumb, fill the other end with tap water, seal that end with your other thumb, then place one end of the hose in the tank and release both ends. This is what I do when I'm using 1" tubing to do a quick water change on my smaller tanks.

oh i did spit most of the water out. But idk somehow it triggered the gulping reflex. Its not really something you do on purpose lol.
 
And I thought you just had the most ridiculous theory and topics on here. Now ridiculous stories. Definitely keep it entertaining around here.
