  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Go with the smaller marbled hatchets (5), true pandas or skunk corys (the 1 1/2" max ones) (3-5), and up to 15 neon sized tetras. Yes you really can keep up to about 5 neon sized tetras per gallon. You could also add 5-6 ghost shrimp and a bunch or two of elodea.

ok, i think im gonna go with a little amazon tank, some simple plants, java moss, driftwood, and 5 marbled hatchets, some little corys, and 15 black neons, will add some red shrimp or ghost shrimp or sumthin....... ittle be busy and attracitve thnx for all the suggestions and comments :headbang2 :headbang2 :grinyes: :grinyes: :D :D :woot: :woot:   :clap :clap

That sounds like a really cool stock list for a 10 gallon.

actually i eneded up opting for something totoaly out of this world, a nano temperate marine tank, figured if im gonna drop $150 dollars on stock i may as well drop that on a chiller and stuff for a coldwater marine tank and stock it from the harbor wich is like 2 blocks away. its currently under construction(just algea and sails and sand and stuff) and u can check it out in the saltwater/brackish forum with pics and everything. it will probably have a fish or 2 by august (and that'd be rushin it) cuz i still havnt got the chiller yet, and im leavin town for a month........
oh well worst comes to worst i have to overhaul it and start over right?

but ya check it out in other forum (saltwater/brackish).

nice choice, thought you were sold on the hatchets and such.
good luck on the nano. put a mantis in it.

o.k..... cool, good luck with it, definatly a diff choice.....
