wouldnt that whole amazon theme with all the tetras, corys, hatchets, and shrimp be overstocking?

so, the coldwater nano tank didnt work cuzz i just couldnt get the water cold enuff to mimic socal ocean temps, so im back to the amazon tank. and on my first trip back to the lfsa in a month i picked up 3 panda corys for it. heres the pics (opted for fake plants cuz i dont want to buy a new hood with adequate lighting) im going to the lfs again on saterday with a not so fish savy freind to set up his tank too, so while im thre im gonna pick up some drift wood. i also think i might go with 2 seperate schools of tetras, 7 neons and 7 black neons, although i like the idea of 15 fish swimming together in unison and boiling on flake food like pelagic tuna :cool-1: lol

That looks sweet! I wanted to add that zigzag eels look similar tire track eels, but they stay small, also very cool to hand feed the, night crawlers. They like planted tanks and are fresh water. I will be moving mine to my ten gallon by himself, because my two tire tracks are getting big enough to find him the sixe of a worm and I dont want him to get eaten!

im haveing trouble....... the dam tank wont cycle, or at least it wont cycle all the way. i the ammonia is down to zero but the nitites are at 5 ppm. i did a 75% water charnge with the water from my other tank to see if it would help, but i tested immediatly after and the nitrites are still at 5 ppm so they must have been like at 15 ppm or sumthin before.so im gonna do another change tomarrow with more precycled water and see if it helps. any other suggestions as to why the dam thing wont cucle, i had the same problem with my 29 gallon but after a 75 percent water change the levels never bounced back........
