IN YOUR HEAD
i have 6 frontosas, they are about 2-3" right now. i know how big they get and i have a 125gal for them when they are bigger. right now they are in a 20gal eating pellets. i would like to know growth rates, how to sex them and some other tips for them.

they will have 3 gatfs, rck, ornate bichir and ropefish for tankmates. i may get a few others to go with them. i am also looking into african plant to put in the mix.

i would also like to know some nice bright less aggressive african cichlids to maybe add to the mix.
thanks

Fronts are very hard to sex in my opinion. The best you can do is try venting them. They are slower growers, but can probably reach 5-6 inches in a year or a little less. I don't know exactly what to add with them, but be sure and watch the fish. A cool thing of Fronts is they have long fins and if you get a fish who nips their fins they aren't as cool and makes them less valuable. I wish you luck :) Do you know what type they are?

thanks, i have no clue what type they are. my friend said when he ordered them they were labeled green fronts?...i'll make a little vid of them and see what that gets me for an id on them. i know they have 6 stripes and one has 7 on one side. i wanted bigger fronts but he called me and said i could have them for cost so i got them.

i think they are burundi but i don't know that is just off of looking around and doing my research. i'll get the vid soon i am waiting for their tank to settle i was in the middle of a wc when i thought of the vid.

update...

i am uploading the vid now and he said it may have been red fronts but green sounds like the right one. he doesn't remember for sure.
