My brother has decided to give me his 75 gallon tank and stand, yes his a 75 for free :D...ontop of my 125 and 55....Im considering either putting at Flowerhorn or A real stud of a male jack dempsey and maybe some dithers and have him as a show fish.. im really into both but can't decide seeing as i only want one or the other....id like to hear your guys's pro's and con's of each...if this isn't in the right section im sorry.

Thanks

JD.... Just say no to hybrids..

I really like JD's but their personalities cannot touch a nice FH. A quality FH costs a lot more than a JD though.

JD'a can look fugly when they get old. Plus FH's are usually nice and tall so they'll fill up a tank nicely. Plus they get sexier with age.
I have seen some nice Jacks though.

I think a nice male JD is very pretty, but I think they are lacking in the personality department. I have never been a fan of hybrids, but my buddy has a 4" flowerhorn that is absolutley insane. He is a very entertaining fish.

Green Terror or a Texas.
