Hey,
I had to change the scape to a more silverdollar-friendly version.
The Notopterus notopterus sadly chased them around as soon as the lights went out so it's gonna take some more time for them to settle in.

Tank looks great. :) Love the red hook and delhezi bichir. Is that a port cichlid in the background?

Hey,
Thanks!
Yea my 5 Delhezis are living in this tank!
I've kept Xenomystus nigri years ago, great, peaceful and schooling fish but they stay too small to successfully keep them long term with the bichirs.

In the background there is one of my Cleithracara maronii!

Oh nice, I've been thinking about keeping keyhole cichlids, how are they? Would they be ok with chocolate cichlid severum and geos, not to get off topic, I apologize.

At london zoo they have huge nigri, you'd be surprised. Easily twice the height of the dels there

Hey,
sure it's a nigri?
My biggest one grew to about 17cm and that's been it.
100% positive. My biggest are that size now, mine range 14-17cm. Getting a more comprehensive diet soon to get more growth on them, they do grow slowly

Hey,
Last night I decided to remove almost all predators.
The current stock would be:
4 Myloplus rubripinnis
4 Metynnis altidorsalis
6 Metynnis maculatus
5 Hyphessobrycon anisitsi
4 Cleithracara maronii
1 Datnioides polota
1 Mastacembelus dayi

Sadly all the silverdollars started darting around as soon as I enter the room.
I hope a pair of larger, calm cichlids will help improving their behaviour.
