So Was this a good pick up?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
figure a 8' diameter pond for her and a male as a adult.... will hold all your rays actually... real good deal... i would add 3lbs of salt to her tank and keep the water clean to finish off any remaining fungus and keep it from coming back....

OK i added the salt do i have to do a water change later after the salt. I do a 25% every saturday should I just wait till next sat. also I think i'm going to build a small indoor pond, what would be a good size for all my rays. i have 6 of them right now. but it can't be to big i have a subfloor in my basement and i do not want it to fall through. I was thinking 10 foot by 10 foot and only about 24 inches tall would this work?

so you have 3 rays in a 125??? i would be doing atleast 50% once a week.... 10x10 would work... with the size otorongo get i would do 30" tall but 24" would work...

no there is 6 rays in there right now. I have two fluval fx5 and a 205 three 125 sponge filters too. You don't think 50% a week would be to much?

watch how fast ur nitrate rises. i would do water changes accordingly.

i feed my rays alot, but i change from 10% to 25% every day on most of my ray tanks...

^^^ Agreed, and I only have one baby ray! And she is half the size of yours. :D

MONSTER Ray!

Should be ok, because I do it and my ray loves the water and eats healthy! BTW my nitrates are always 10PPM or lower.
