But I was just gonna say that if the guys aren't hanging out, there is a tiny chance that, in time, the wound may heal and the eel will live but that's if you separate it from the other and replace the live rock with PVC so that it can't scrape and make it worse.

So guys this is what I think I'm going to do because he seems not to be very distressed and hopefully he makes a full recovery I'm toning to take back my other eel cause it looks like he'll be a vicious one and I don't feel like possibly loosing a finger in the future I'm going to take him back to the pet store and leave the wounded one in the tank
