I remember seeing these at the first SoCal meet at your store and I wanted one, but I also remember you telling me that they would eventually go marine.

yeah, they do better in salt water, or brackish. I still like these guys though. My first one, I caught off the coast in Hong Kong, and it was 9" long, I kept that puppy alive in salt water for almost a year, before I killed it. I was only around 10 years old then.

they're not rare in s. cal, but one with that nice pattern is rarer. I just like these fish, rare or not, even the regular ones are incredible looking!
